My darling Vicki turned 62 a week or so before Kyle and Michelle’s wedding. Some smart friend told me that for the mothers of the bride and groom, it’s all about “the dress.” Vicki found such a dress and did she look good in it! In fact, there was a strong resemblance to John Singer Sargent's portrait of "Madame X." But she wanted to look even better, to the consternation of Mr. Sargent.
