Christmas Eve at Fremont Place Books

I worked at Henry's bookstore three Fridays in December, including Christmas Eve. Things were really jumping that day - and, for you gender studies folks, we had just as many men as women buying last minute gifts. My job was to wrap gifts, suggest books to people and try not to screw up the cash register too badly. Two out of three ain't bad, I say.
