Come Dance for the Stars!

Saturday, July 20 is our FOURTH annual Dancing for the Stars fundraiser dance for the Star of Hope orphanage in Bungoma, Kenya. The orphanage is in Kenya, but the dance is in Seattle, so we need everybody to come have a great time in a beautiful house overlooking Lake Union, eat delicious food, drink delicious adult beverages, bid on delicious gifts and DANCE to the delicious Bouchards. Those of you who came last year know how fun this party is. And this year we have a special guest: Leonard Muyelele, the founder and director of the orphanage, who jumped through every hoop the U.S. and Kenyan bureaucracy could throw in his way and who will be our guest of honor! Meet the man who has taken in village kids orphaned by poverty, AIDS, election violence and other tragedies and given them a safe, loving home and education. The orphanage has grown and prospered, but there is still so much to do in a country without the basic social infrastructures we take for granted.

Everything you need to know is on our website here. Can't make it, but want to help out? You can also donate here. Any amount, no matter how small, makes a big difference in the lives of these beautiful children. See you there!
