The Horrors of Plumbing

I was feeling all plumbery, so I set about replacing all our original "feeder" hoses and valves in the bathrooms. You gotta turn off the main water valve, which I THOUGHT was in the crawl space below a closet. Wasn't there, but you what was? Rat traps from years ago. And you know what was in a couple of them? OMG, it was like something from the rat version of Pirates of the Caribbean. Trust me, I needed the water running for a bit after that.
