Oh God, Google Plus

I was recently invited to join a friend's "circle" on Google Plus (actually, I'm not sure if you're supposed to write "Plus" or use the + sign - that's how NOT suited to this cutting edge social media I am). As most of you who read this blog know, I don't really even know how to use Blogger (that's what THIS blog is made with) or Facebook or ... um, that other tweety thing. So, if any of you can tell me how to invite you all to my circle, you're in!
