I HAVE AN AGENT!!!!

After months of working with Secret Agent Anna O on my book, Max and the Art Contest, we finally got the book dummy to her satisfaction and she offered me representation! That means she's no longer my secret agent. Her real identity is Anna Olswanger, literary agent with Liza Dawson Associates, in New York City. She prefers to rep writer/illustrators and I'm honored to be one of them. I'm pretty freaking stoked about the whole thing. We met in October when I had a ten minute appointment with her. I showed her a Max book dummy and she said, "I think Max is adorable, do you have anything else with him?" I looked around for the hidden camera, saying "ye-essss" as I pulled out three more dummies and 4 manuscripts. She liked The Art Contest best and we've been working on it ever since. And I mean working. Wish us both luck!
