NaNoWriMo

It's National Write a Novel Month and we're only half way through the month! I gotta write 50,000 words by the end of November. Don't worry, you won't have to read them. I don't even have a PLOT! But those of you who've read this blog for awhile know I don't really need a plot to go on and on endlessly about pretty much nothing, right? Anyway, it's quite an endeavor. The best advice so far came from my sister out-law, whose name rhymes with Ann Pancake. She told me that when William Stafford was asked about how to combat writer's block, he said, "Lower your standards." No problem there!
