Big Book Conference!
This last weekend was the Northwest Chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators convention. It was three days of intense learning and listening and some drinking (thank God). Laini Taylor gave a great talk about how freaking hard it is to write. And it's especially hard to write when you were cursed with loving parents who provided you with a happy childhood.
