Time To Get Writing!

Peggy King Anderson, one of the Northwest's most luminous luminaries in children's books, teaches a writing course which I'm taking. At our first meeting this week she read our work in class, including "Max! Relax!" She liked it! And for homework I have to come up with a first draft of the next Max book. Max is thrilled. I'll keep you posted.

    Nothing like getting the old pusheroo. This is fantastic, Dana. I know there's a bunch of Max's just waiting to get out. The door. Or onto the paper. To be housetrained. Ok, these are beyond tired.

    Well, a lot of him got out before he left this earth. So we got a new carpet. I've started thinking up characters to be in Agent Max's P.O.O.P. Patrol. One of them just might be a fussy, yet dangerous poodle named GoGo. Any objections?
